Job summary

Vantor is seeking a GIS DevOps Engineer in Herndon, VA to build scalable geospatial data services. You will design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters across cloud and on‑prem environments, implement CI/CD pipelines, and promote IaC practices to deliver secure, reliable platforms.

This role requires U.S. Citizenship with TS/SCI clearance (CI poly preferred), 2+ years in technical support or DevSecOps, and strong collaboration across distributed teams.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance (or willing to obtain).
Minimum 2 years in a technical roles (support/DevSecOps).
Experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
Experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Docker, and CI/CD tools.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters across cloud and on‑prem environments.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.
Implement infrastructure as code and monitor platform performance, security, and reliability.
Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve usability and governance.
