Vantor seeks a Geospatial Platform Engineer to advance geospatial, imagery, AI/ML, and data-driven apps from prototype to production. You will join a security-focused team delivering containerized platforms in hybrid environments, integrating data services and secure DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, data science, geospatial science, or related area.
• 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's; 7+ with a Master's; or 6+ with a Doctorate.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph; US citizenship required; onsite work.
• Strong production software experience in Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, Bash.
• Experience supporting geospatial, imagery, AI/ML, data-driven, or analytic applications.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automation, and containerized architectures in hybrid/on-prem/classified environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate backend services, APIs, data connectors, plugins, and platform components for geospatial, imagery, AI/ML workflows.
• Build data ingest, enrichment, transformation, indexing, alerting, API, and analytic service components for mission-focused apps.
• Design, deploy, and maintain containerized architectures using Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, RKE2, or similar tools.
• Create and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment patterns, infrastructure automation, and DevSecOps workflows with Ansible, Terraform, Packer.
• Support geospatial visualization, 3D terrain visualization, imagery access, and map-based analytics with Cesium, OMAR, or similar.
• Operationalize AI/ML models at scale: integration, inference services, deployment automation, monitoring, and production support.
