The Coastal Climate Resilience Lab at the University of California, Berkeley seeks a part-time Research Data Analyst 1 (20 hours per week) to support remote sensing and geospatial analysis projects. The role involves data cleaning, code reuse, and producing visualizations for internal review.

Based in Berkeley, the candidate will collaborate with researchers across campuses, with remote work arrangements possible within the United States and supervision from senior team members.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience.
• Foundational knowledge in data analysis and statistics.
• Experience with geospatial data and remote sensing is desirable.
• Ability to document methods and reports clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Under direct supervision, performs basic statistical and data analysis.
• Apply existing code to new data from online repositories to deliver outputs.
• Create reports and basic visualizations of results.
• Collects research data and prepares it for analysis.
• Assists with study design proposals and survey instruments.
• Develops knowledge in storage, documentation and dissemination of computerized data.
• Assists with evaluation and research of data reporting products.
