Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Degree.
• Five years of relevant geospatial experience (military or civilian).
• Or High School and 4 years + GPC level I and II, or relevant Bachelor’s degree + 2 years’ experience.
• Experience in geography, cartography and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
• Experience in creating shapefiles, geo-databases, and features.
• Knowledge of NGA digital data formats and geospatial production techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion, Production and Review.
• Support existing and developing mission areas within a government-contractor team.
• Update source catalogs and information.
• Data conversion/migration tasks for hydrographic data.
• Analyze imagery and non-imagery source information for NGA hydrographic products.
