Job summary

RSI EnTech, LLC is seeking a Junior GIS Analyst to support the Department of Energy’s Office of Legacy Management in Grand Junction, CO. The role includes producing maps, managing geospatial data, and performing quality checks across multiple datasets.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and up to five years of GIS experience, with strong arcGIS skills. Travel about 5% is required; a valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, geography, environmental science, geology, or related field with demonstrated GIS training or coursework.
0-5 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and produce high-quality maps, figures, web maps, and 3D visual representations using GIS software.
Compile, digitize, georeference, and integrate spatial datasets from diverse sources.
Perform basic spatial analyses and data modeling to generate summaries and reports.
Assist with designing, populating, and maintaining geospatial databases across platforms.
Conduct QA/QC reviews on data to verify topology, attribute completeness, and metadata compliance.
