Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Senior Applied AI/ML Engineer to join an agile, fast-paced customer environment. You will build end-to-end data and ML capabilities, including scalable pipelines, analytics, and production deployments, delivering analyst-facing tools to mission users.

The ideal candidate combines strong data engineering with applied data science and software development across the full lifecycle, from ingesting data to exposing capabilities via APIs.

Qualifications

• Must have current/active TS/SCI and CI polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years in data engineering, data science, ML engineering, or software engineering.
• Strong programming in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Experience building production data pipelines for large datasets.
• Experience developing and deploying analytics, ML, or data-intensive apps.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT, data quality, and analytics data stores.
• Ability to translate ambiguous problems into practical data/analytics/software solutions.
• Team-oriented, self-driven, customer-facing collaboration.
• Willing to work at a customer site in Northern VA.
