Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience with a geophysical services firm or department with 50 percent in the field; two most recent years as Staff Engineer/Geoscientist I or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent oral and written communication.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with geoscience software and technical report writing.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute field data acquisition across resistivity, magnetics, EM, GPR, and seismics.
  • Process data and perform field quality control filtering.
  • Troubleshoot data acquisition gear and field equipment.
  • Co-author technical reports with guidance from higher-level staff.
  • Provide field supervision of support personnel and interact with subcontractors/clients.
