Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Coordinate construction and renovation projects with internal offices and outside vendors; represent the department at related meetings.
• Safety: Oversee safety/compliance program; liaise with EHS to ensure GEO compliance with regulations; maintain SHIELD records; coordinate safety programs across labs and facilities.
• Facilities: Address HVAC, electric, plumbing, and furniture needs; oversee major repairs; coordinate with researchers on use of facilities and equipment; manage security and access; be available for emergencies.
• Property Manager: Lead import/export of equipment and geological samples; coordinate shipping and asset inventory.
