Job summary

Brown University is seeking a Building & Operations Manager to oversee daily facilities and research operations for the Physical Sciences. You will serve as the primary representative on facilities, safety, security, and emergency-related matters, collaborating with FM and academic departments to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient environments.

You will manage lab and building systems, support space planning, and coordinate with EHS and DPSEM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 3-5 years of related administrative and building management experience.
• Knowledge of building operations, safety, security, and compliance standards.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily facilities and research operations for the Physical Sciences.
• Represents the lab-based Physical Sciences on facilities, safety, security, and emergency matters.
