Job summary

Repsol SA in The Woodlands, Texas, seeks a Geoscientist Intern to support day-to-day geoscience tasks onsite with the team during the summer.

The internship runs May 17 through Aug 6, with interns paid hourly and a summer stipend. Non-local candidates may be considered but must arrange travel and temporary housing. Interns are onsite five days a week; 9/80 optional per project. Benefits or PTO are not provided; holidays are paid.

Qualifications

• 2 years completed toward a Geology or related geoscience degree; enrolled Fall 2027.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with subsurface data and oil & gas industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support geoscience team with day-to-day tasks and project activities.
• Assist data compilation, organization, and basic interpretation of subsurface data.
• Prepare maps, exhibits, presentations, and technical documentation.
• Participate in team meetings and cross-functional collaborations.
• Follow established safety standards, procedures, and company policies.
