Job summary

EOG Resources, Inc. invites Geoscience interns to Midland, TX to contribute to subsurface evaluation efforts and learn hands‑on geologic and seismic interpretation, mapping, and analysis. Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor, master, or doctorate degree in a geoscience program.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
  • Familiar with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email applications.
  • Deductive reasoning skills to analyze and synthesize information for problem solving.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills with effective project coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Support subsurface evaluation efforts related to exploration and development projects.
  • Gain hands-on experience in geologic and seismic interpretation, along with subsurface mapping and analysis.
  • Generate geologic maps and provide data-driven interpretations and recommendations.
