Job summary

NTC Language Services is seeking reliable in-person educational interpreters for Georgian and English in NYC schools.

This part-time, as-needed role requires travel to assignments in NYC and a commitment to accurate, culturally responsive interpretation.

Responsibilities include facilitating parent-teacher conferences, CPSE/CSE meetings, student evaluations, and school events; starting pay is $35.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak proficiently in both English and Georgian.
• Interpreting experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel to NYC assignments.

Responsibilities

• Interpret for parent-teacher conferences.
• Interpret for CPSE/CSE meetings and student evaluations.
• Assist with student registrations, enrollments, and school orientations.
• Support family engagement events and counseling meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality and neutrality during all assignments.
