NTC Language Services is seeking an In-Person Educational Interpreter for Russian in NYC on a part-time, as-needed basis. The interpreter will travel to NYC assignments and provide accurate English-Russian interpretation for students, families, educators, and school staff.

The role requires reliable availability for in-person work in NYC, with starting pay at $35.00 per hour. Enjoy flexible scheduling and opportunities to gain experience across diverse educational settings.

Formación

• Candidates must read, write, and speak proficiently in English and Russian.
• Interpret spoken communication accurately between English and Russian.
• Maintain neutrality and confidentiality.
• Be punctual and professional.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret for parent-teacher conferences.
• Interpret for CSE and CPSE meetings.
• Interpret for student evaluations and intake meetings.
• Interpret for student registration and enrollment appointments.
• Support school orientations and workshops.
• Assist with family engagement events.
• Provide guidance and counseling interpretation.
• Attend disciplinary and administrative meetings.
• Assist with testing and other school-based assignments.
