Chroma Early Learning Academy in Georgia seeks a Georgia Pre-K Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment for four-year-olds. You will assist with daily classroom activities, implement lesson plans, and help foster social, emotional, and academic development.

This role emphasizes collaboration with staff and adherence to Bright from the Start/DECAL standards, maintaining routines, and contributing to a well-organized classroom.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory Background Check
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Supervision and daily class functions of a group of children
• Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
• Observes all rules and regulations at the center and local/state/national agencies
• Support each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance
• Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis
• Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule
• Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence
• Provides verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children's behavior
• Attends staff meetings, workshops, and school functions
• Maintains professional appearance per Employee Handbook
• Knowledge of social, emotional and creative needs of young children
