Qualifications

• Education: BS in hydrogeology, geology, geophysics, geological engineering, or civil engineering with water/environment emphasis; MS/PhD counts as experience.
• Experience: 3+ years with geophysical services firm or department with data processing.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word; experience with geoscience software and writing technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Process, analyze and interpret geophysical data for electrical resistivity and seismic data.
• Support processing/interpretation for EM methods, GPR, magnetics and borehole logging.
• Troubleshoot data acquisition gear and assist with survey design tasks.
• Assist in writing geophysical reports with methodology and interpretation.
• Incorporate GPS or surveying data to locate project data and maintain safety protocols.
