KIPP Miami seeks an experienced High School Geometry Teacher to design and deliver a rigorous, college-preparatory Geometry program aligned to Florida standards. You will lead Geometry Honors, Advanced Geometry, and pathways toward Algebra II Honors, Pre‑Calculus and AP/IB math tracks, integrating CTE contexts like CAD and architecture.

Strong collaboration with the mathematics department, data-driven instruction, and family partnerships are essential as you prepare students for college

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree in mathematics education or related field.
Requires Florida Educator Certificate (6–12) or eligibility.
Proven ability to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned geometry instruction.
Experience integrating CTE concepts (CAD, architecture, engineering) into math.

Responsibilities

Plan and teach rigorous Geometry curriculum aligned to Florida standards.
Develop unit plans with proofs, coordinate geometry, trigonometry, and transformations.
Incorporate technology-rich instruction using GeoGebra, CAD tools, and graphing software.
Collaborate with colleagues to align pathways toward AP/IB/Dual Enrollment.
