Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and seven years of engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline and three years of engineering experience.
• Slope monitoring, dewatering and rock mechanics experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and guidance for all phases of assigned geomechanical engineering projects and programs, ensuring successful completion within appropriate timeframes and cost parameters.
• Review, investigate, and develop recommendations for engineering projects.
• Serve as Project Manager or technical advisor on small-to-medium site construction, expansion, or modification projects.
• Evaluate and administer vendor contracts for services and equipment.
• Collaborate in site strategic planning and budgeting efforts for designated engineering areas.
• Assist in developing and evaluating Appropriation Requests (AR) for capital funding.
• Perform other duties as required.
