Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Geomaticist/Survey Technician to support boundary analysis, survey data processing, and mapping deliverables in Houston/Austin. You’ll work with geometry and GIS tools under supervision of a licensed professional, preparing plats and descriptions as needed.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Geomatics or related field, plus 3 years of post‑bachelor experience; LSIT is required. CAD/GIS proficiency and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Engineering, Land Surveying, or related discipline; 3 years post-bachelor's experience.
• Proficient with survey calculations, CAD, GIS, and field data processing.
• LSIT registration or eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform boundary analysis and survey calculations under supervision of a Registered Professional Land Surveyor.
• Process field notes, extract features from point clouds, and prepare survey maps.
• Prepare legal descriptions, exhibits, plats, and cost estimates as needed.
• Coordinate technicians and support staff; assist in reports.
