Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Geomaticist/Survey Technician in Houston or Austin, TX. You will perform field and office geomatics tasks, including boundary analysis, survey data processing, and mapping deliverables, under supervision of a Registered Professional Land Surveyor.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Geomatics or related field with 3+ years’ experience, proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD Civil 3D/Open Roads Designer), and LSIT is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Engineering, Land Surveying, or related discipline, plus 3 years post-bachelor's professional experience as a Geomaticist or Survey Technician.
• Must be proficient with survey calculations, CAD, and GIS.

Responsibilities

• Perform boundary analysis and survey calculations under supervision of a Registered Professional Land Surveyor.
• Process field survey data and create accurate mapping deliverables.
• Prepare legal descriptions, exhibits and plats.
• Write preliminary reports and cost estimates as needed.
• Coordinate technicians and support staff as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
