The NC Department of Transportation seeks an Engineering Technician I (S) to join the Photogrammetry Unit in Wake County, NC. This entry-level role provides technical support to engineers and technicians, assisting with photogrammetric mapping, image processing, and planimetric/terrain feature review.

You will operate mapping hardware and software, assist in lidar and GIS workflows, and help ensure data quality and documentation according to standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in civil/geomatics.
• Experience with photogrammetry, lidar, GIS.
• Ability to document work clearly and maintain records.

Responsabilités

• Provide entry-level technical support for photogrammetric mapping and related design tasks.
• Operate photogrammetric plotting instruments and mapping software.
