Job summary

SAM offers an Apprenticeship Program for aspiring land surveyors. The two-year program provides paid training while you learn to collect angles and elevations, mapmaking, and surveying techniques with cutting-edge equipment. You’ll complete notes, sketches, and plan readings in the field, with exposure to records research and quality control.

Safety and compliance trainings are required. You will travel, work outdoors, and pursue a Journeyman Surveyor Certification as you gain hands-on
