JOBTITLE: Geology Assistant

PAY RANGE: $17.13/hour to $17.13/hour

START DATE: 9/8/2026

JOB PURPOSE

The geology assistant will drive for field trips within the geology department, as needed.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Drive turtle tops or suburbans as needed for geology field trips.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Individuals must be able to explain and demonstrate that they possess the knowledge, skills and abilities to safely perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Must be able to drive Whitman College Turtle Tops.
• Be familiar with the geology department field trips.
