GFT is seeking a Geologist to join the Geotechnical, Dams and Hydraulics team in Roseville, CA or Oakland, CA. Hybrid work model with regular office attendance.

The role focuses on geologic investigations, site assessments, and reporting for challenging geotechnical projects across water resources and infrastructure. The candidate will support hydroelectric projects, develop geologic models, and prepare technical reports while collaborating with engineers and other geoscientists.

Formación

• BA/BS in Geology or related field required.
• 5–10 years in engineering geology projects with increasing responsibility.
• Current California PG license.
• Experience developing, conducting, and managing engineering geology projects/tasks independently or with a team.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsabilidades

• Organize and perform geologic investigations to evaluate conditions for engineered structures.
• Analyze geologic data and develop geologic maps and cross-sections.
• Prepare field exploration work plans, hazard assessments, and technical reports.
