AECOM in Long Beach, CA seeks a Geologist or Hydrogeologist III to support environmental site characterization and remediation across the Los Angeles Basin. The role involves field sampling, data interpretation, and coordination with contractors and clients in a dynamic team.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS in geology or related field, 4 years of related experience, and a valid driver’s license; California GIT/PG licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent in geology or environmental science.
• 4 years of relevant environmental investigation/remediation experience.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to pass MVR.
• US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.

Responsabilités

• Support site characterization, subsurface investigation, and remediation activities.
• Collect, evaluate, and interpret geological, hydrogeological, and geochemical data in field and office settings.
• Plan, conduct, and supervise fieldwork, including: drilling, sampling, and monitoring well installations.
• Coordinate logistics with stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Prepare investigation and remediation progress reports and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mentor junior staff and support health and safety planning.
