Job summary

Sustainment & Restoration Services (SRS) is a Native American tribally-owned small business delivering environmental, engineering, construction support, and related services. We seek a Geologist, Engineer, or Environmental Scientist at junior to mid level to support remediation projects in California and beyond, in person with occasional remote work.

Based in Walnut Creek, the successful candidate will work in the field and office, handling planning, sampling, documentation, and coordination

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Engineering, or related Environmental Science field with 3–5 years field sampling, or Master’s with 1–3 years.
• Ability to gain access to DoD project sites (U.S. citizen; background check).
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; ability to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project planning documents (work plans, QC plans, health and safety plans).
• Conduct fieldwork prep; procure subcontracts, materials, and equipment; schedule subcontractors.
