Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology from an accredited institution.
• Professional Geologist (PG) or Registered Geologist (RG) license in California
• Minimum 5 years of relevant geotechnical or engineering geology experience, including at least 3 years following professional licensure
• Experience performing: Geologic reconnaissance and subsurface investigations
• Slope stability assessments and mapping
• Construction observation and documentation
• Project management experience on projects of varying size and complexity
• Experience working with materials testing laboratories
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct geologic and geotechnical field investigations.
• Perform subsurface exploration, site reconnaissance, and data collection.
• Evaluate slope stability and geologic hazards.
• Analyze field and laboratory data and prepare technical reports.
• Manage projects through all phases, from proposal development to construction support.
• Coordinate with materials testing and inspection professionals.
• Mentor and collaborate with junior staff and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client communication.
