Job summary

SAIC is seeking a GEOINT Systems Engineer in Chantilly, VA to support the Aretuza program for the NRO GED. You will interact with senior government and program staff to analyze concepts, baselines, and capabilities, and provide system engineering analysis across architecture, CONOPs, interfaces, schedule, and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly.
• Experience in GEOINT systems, including space and ground architecture and mission processing.
• Knowledge of IC/DoD system acquisition, processes and program management.
• Experience developing or supporting GEOINT processing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with development contractors and government staff on GEOINT systems engineering for collection, mission management and processing.
• Provide oversight of software development and integration activities, aligned with government requirements.
• Perform engineering and analysis to support core mission processing services throughout the lifecycle.
• Maintain cognizance of GEOINT projects, including baselines, schedules, dependencies, risks and costs.
• Advise on architectural decisions, investment priorities and project risk assessments.
• Conduct strategic planning for mission architecture and programmatic needs (budgeting, cost estimation, schedules).
• Assess performance, cost, schedule and risk impacts on ground architecture implementations.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and review technical reports and program plans.
