Job summary

GeoEngineers in Seattle, WA (also Redmond and Tacoma) seeks a Project Engineer to join our Construction Design Discipline. You will deliver engineered solutions for temporary works, deep foundations, cofferdams, and excavation support systems.

You will work with contractors and design-build partners to produce constructible, efficient designs, develop technical depth, and grow project management responsibilities while owning key project deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license required.
• 3+ years of professional experience in geotechnical/structural engineering.
• Experience with geotechnical/structural design software listed.
• Familiarity with pile testing (driven piles, drilled shafts, small-diameter piles).

Responsibilities

• Design geo-structural solutions: excavation support systems, ground improvement, retaining walls, work staging plans, access trestles, piles, and deep foundations.
• Develop engineering analyses for structural and geotechnical designs (steel, timber, DSM, slope stability).
• Create project drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.
• Coordinate with project teams and clients to resolve technical issues.
• Generate memos, calculation packages, and deliverables; perform peer reviews.
• Support project management tasks including budgeting, field reports, and client meetings.
