We serve key sectors including Energy, Water, Defence, Nuclear and Property, and have grown our business by approximately 50% over the last four years, with ambitious plans to continue this growth.

We are looking for a Geo-environmental Consultant / Engineering Geologist to join our team in Leeds, working largely across the north of England. You will be part of a northern geo-environment consulting team of 30 staff (11 based in Leeds) within a wider national team of 100 specialists. The team delivers services to a broad range of private and public sector clients, often as part of multidisciplinary project teams.

Your Impact in this Position

You will be responsible for delivering engineering geology and geo-environmental services across a range of challenging projects and sites. This includes supporting key clients such as water utilities, development organisations and government bodies.

Your work will involve producing desk-based assessments, developing conceptual site models, designing and managing ground investigations, interpreting data and preparing reports. You will also contribute to remediation and earthworks strategies, mining risk assessments, and provide input during construction phases. In addition, you will support tendering activities, project and financial management, and collaborate closely with colleagues and clients.

Experience in mining risk, earthworks and remediation is beneficial. Strong written and verbal communication skills, IT literacy, and a good understanding of health, safety and CDM regulations are important. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for site work are required.
