Genworth is offering an Actuarial Development Program Intern position for Summer 2027 in Richmond, VA, hybrid work. The program runs 10–12 weeks, giving hands-on actuarial training, Excel and programming exposure, and the chance to work with data and actuarial software. It may lead to future opportunities within the company.
You will gain mentorship, attend on-site classes, collaborate with peers, and engage in community service while exploring a rewarding actuarial path.

Actuarial Development Program Intern - Summer 2027
This position is hybrid and located in Richmond, VA. Candidates may be eligible for relocation assistance if they are not located in the area.
Genworth’s Actuarial Internship program is an excellent opportunity for students to explore the actuarial profession while honing the necessary technical and interpersonal skills for the job. Beginning Summer 2027, our interns spend 10-to-12 weeks exercising their talents to solve real-world problems because our financial services and products touch real lives—whether we’re providing support for caregivers, enabling independent living, or helping people achieve home ownership.
This role is aligned to a national market-based pay range. Actual compensation will vary based on geographic location, experience, skills, and other job-related factors, such as exam progression towards the Associate in the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to participate in a bonus incentive plan. Incentive compensation is based on individual and company performance and is not guaranteed.
