Job summary

State of Washington – Department of Revenue seeks an Application Developer Journey to code, configure, test, and implement changes in GenTax using C#.Net and SQL. You will gather requirements, assess feasibility, and collaborate with business units to deliver effective tax software solutions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with SQL and modern programming languages such as .NET/C#.
• Proven ability to analyze business processes and propose technical solutions.
• Experience configuring and coding moderately complex applications using COTS and custom tools.
• Familiarity with FAST GenTax software is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Use DOR and GenTax development tools and languages (C#.Net, SQL) to code, configure, test, stage, and implement changes in GenTax.
• Gather and discover requirements for system changes.
• Determine feasibility and impact of changes to GenTax and business units.
• Follow DOR software development standards and methodologies.
