Job summary

Axle is seeking a Genomics Technician to support the Center for Human Immunology, Autoimmunity, and Inflammation at the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. The role involves processing cell suspensions, performing immune profiling assays, and managing sequencing samples.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology and have at least two years of experience with NGS and 10x technologies.

This position offers a salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 USD with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in molecular biology or related field.
• Two years of experience with NGS and 10x libraries.
• Proficient in molecular biology techniques.
• Experience with spatial transcriptomics is required.

Responsibilities

• Process cell suspensions for single-cell analysis.
• Prepare and QC RNA and DNA samples for sequencing.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of high-throughput instrumentation.
• Keep detailed records of experimental procedures.
