Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Bioinformatics & Computational Single-Cell Genomics Expert for a remote contract role. You will design computational problems for AI evaluation and work with real scientific software such as Scanpy, scVelo, Squidpy, and Gudhi to craft testable problems and benchmarks.

Ideal candidates hold MS or PhD in a STEM field, demonstrate strong Python skills, and can operate autonomously in Linux-based remote compute sandboxes.

Commitment: 15–20 hours/week
