Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Bioinformatics & Computational Single-Cell Genomics Expert on a remote, contract basis. The role involves designing computational challenges to assess AI capabilities in scientific research and crafting problems using tools such as Scanpy, Scvelo, Squidpy, and Gudhi.

Flexibility to work 15–20 hours weekly is expected. Ideal candidates have graduate-level STEM training, strong Python skills, and the ability to work independently in a Linux/terminal environment, with experience
