Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd. seeks an Account Executive – Genomics & Rare Disease to drive regional growth across the Pacific Northwest, engaging pediatric hospitals, academic medical centers, and healthcare systems with advanced genomic testing solutions.

You will develop and execute a regional business plan, analyze sales performance, forecast via CRM, and act as a trusted scientific and commercial resource for clients, traveling up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences (Genetics, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field).
• 5+ years of successful sales experience in clinical genomics, molecular diagnostics, or precision medicine.
• Proven track record selling into pediatric hospitals or academic medical centers.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and a data-driven approach to territory management.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and own regional strategy.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic territory plans to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, hospital administrators, and key decision-makers.
• Use a consultative, science-driven sales approach to position genomic testing solutions.
• Conduct market analysis and share insights on trends, competition, and emerging opportunities.
• Manage territory data, pipeline, and forecasting within Salesforce CRM.
• Deliver engaging scientific presentations, webinars, and product demonstrations to clinical audiences.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, medical affairs, and operations to support customer success.
• Provide field intelligence and feedback to inform product development and market strategy.
