Job summary

The role combines hands‑on bench work with day‑to‑day management of a genomics lab studying chromatin organization and protein–DNA interactions that regulate gene expression.

The successful candidate will own the lab’s operational health, train students, and contribute to high‑level genomic assays and computational analyses.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree plus two years of full‑time research experience or Bachelor’s degree plus four years of full‑time research experience.
• Experience with lab management, purchasing, safety compliance, and supervising junior researchers is preferred.
• Experience with sequencing library prep and analysis of genomic data is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational health of the lab and train/mentor undergraduate and graduate researchers.
• Run and manage genomic assays and computational analysis using model systems.
• Support day‑to‑day lab operations and safety compliance in a collaborative environment.
