Job summary

Labcorp in Durham, NC seeks a Genomics Data Analyst Supervisor to lead a team analyzing data from molecular laboratories, including NGS, Sanger, and MLPA assays, supporting molecular genetics and oncology. The role partners with clinical directors to ensure high-quality patient results.

The position is office-based with a Monday–Friday schedule, demanding strong leadership, communication, and a meticulous approach to data interpretation in a high-volume lab environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a chemical or biological science, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.
• 5+ years of clinical laboratory testing experience.
• 1+ year of molecular clinical laboratory testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise data analysis personnel and provide day-to-day leadership and guidance.
• Ensure staff compliance with regulatory, quality, safety, and departmental requirements.
• Review genomics data from NGS, Sanger, and MLPA assays and ensure adherence to procedures and quality standards.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to improve communication, efficiency, and workflow.
