Job summary

LabCorp seeks a Genomics Data Analyst Supervisor to join our team at the Durham, NC facility. This office‑based leadership role oversees a team of Data Analysts responsible for interpreting and analyzing data from clinical molecular laboratories in Durham and Westborough. The team specializes in genomic data analysis from NGS, Sanger, and MLPA assays in support of molecular genetics and oncology.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
• 5 years or more of clinical laboratory testing experience.
• 1 year or more of molecular clinical laboratory testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise data analysis personnel and provide day‑to‑day leadership and guidance.
• Ensure staff compliance with all regulatory, quality, safety, and departmental requirements.
• Review genomics data from NGS, Sanger, and MLPA assays and ensure adherence to established procedures and quality standards.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to improve communication, efficiency, and workflow effectiveness.
• Oversee the performance of testing activities related to the data analysis workflows.
• Investigate, perform, and evaluate troubleshooting activities related to processes and workflows.
• Revise, update, and maintain SOPs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement corrective or preventive actions.
• Support the data analysis components of validations for new test methods, instrumentation, reagents, and workflows.
• Participate in Quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
