Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Mountain View is hiring an engineer for AWS HealthOmics to build APIs and developer tools that integrate genomic analysis into customers' workflows, including the Kiro plugin, SDK, and platform APIs.

You'll design scalable backend services, focus on developer experience, and collaborate across UX, product, and platform teams to reduce friction and deliver reliable, intuitive tooling for bioinformatics pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
