Job summary

Databricks is building AI-driven analytics on its lakehouse platform. This role focuses on Genie-powered analytics agents, LLM-driven workflows, and integration with Databricks Apps and Lakebase services to deliver scalable AI-powered solutions. You’ll work with senior engineers and leverage AI coding tools from day one.

We expect strong Python and SQL skills, hands-on LLM experience, and a proactive, ship-focused mindset in a fast-moving team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field or practical experience.

Responsibilities

Build and ship features for AI-powered surfaces: Genie analytics agents, LLM-assisted workflows, and in-app intelligence within GTM Hub.
Develop and integrate agentic workflows — prompts, tools/MCP integrations, retrieval, and evaluation — for reliable, grounded answers.
Write Python and SQL against Databricks lakehouse (Unity Catalog, Delta) and Lakebase (Postgres).
Use AI coding tools as a core part of workflow and build reusable skills for the team.
Contribute to evaluation and quality: measure accuracy with eval sets, scorecards, regression checks.
Partner with data engineers, app engineers, and strategy/ops to take work from idea to PR to production.
Write clean, well-documented, tested code and participate in code reviews.
