Oerlikon is seeking a reliable Inspector to join our Geneva, IL production team. You will inspect finished products, translate requirements into clear production specs, and ensure accurate shipment.

This role emphasizes attention to detail and collaboration in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include inspecting customer product, establishing process sequences, and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient ordering supplies via the Internet.
• Experience with MS Word and Internet Explorer.
• Strong work ethic, be high-energy, and detailed-oriented.
• Able to lift 44lbs.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and co-workers in a ‘customer-friendly’ manner
• Receive and inspect customer product for processing
• Establish product process sequence
• Inspect finished product
• Participate in continuous improvement activities
• Learn new skills and Cross-train into various department
• Act as member of the monthly ‘Quality Council’
• Being Cross-trained in other areas of production
