Qualifications

• High school/vocational education with science coursework and 1 year of research experience, or equivalent college study.
• Preferred: bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline.
• Ability to perform basic lab techniques and maintain detailed notes.

Responsibilities

• Performs research using mouse oocytes to study processes relevant to human health and disease.
• Works with a supervisor but can perform lab work independently.
• Performs standard lab techniques: cell biology experiments, mouse transgenesis, phenotypic analysis, dissection, epifluorescence and confocal microscopy.
• Maintains an accurate lab notebook and presents data.
• Works in a team-based setting.
