Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Completed course work in medical terminology or transcription preferred.
• Minimum transcription experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and genetic counselors with case preparation and documentation in the EMR.
• Process genetic testing documentation, place orders, coordinate send outs, and track results.
• Perform clerical duties (faxing, filing, mailing, copying) and transcription of clinical notes.
• Accurately transcribe medical reports and patient encounters under supervision.
