Job summary

The position involves supporting CGCs, maintaining databases and educational materials, and assisting in quality initiatives across the health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Genetics, Biology, Health Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of genetic terminology and laboratory workflows.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in data entry and basic database tools.

Responsibilities

• Review test requisitions, order forms, and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Track test status and communicate with providers regarding results or needs.
• Coordinate with reference laboratories for send-out testing and test selection guidance.
• Monitor testing workflows and escalate complex or duplicative testing to CGCs.
