Qualifications

• Master's degree in Genetic Counseling is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in genetics.
• State license as Genetic Counselor required.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced genetic counseling, education, and support to patients, families, and research participants.
• Reviews personal and family medical histories, assesses genetic risk, and explains options and care plans.
• Coordinates genetic testing workflows, including consent and communication of results.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to support patient-centered care.
• Participates in clinical education, training, and professional development activities.
• Mentors and supervises trainees as appropriate.
• Contributes to process improvement initiatives in clinical programs and workflows.
• Supports patient access initiatives to improve experience and access to services.
