Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum one year of work experience in genetic counseling setting preferred.
• Experience with Epic or other EMR system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide brief conversations on benefits and clinical utility of genetic testing.
• Assist patients with scheduling appointments or testing for GCC schedule.
• Document family history and gather info to determine reason for visit.
• Support informed decision making regarding genetic testing and health management options.
• Schedule new and established patient visits per patient preference and physician availability.
• Coordinate patient care daily via check-in, orders, paperwork, and follow-ups.
• Perform administrative duties related to patient care and follow-through.
