Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Tech Specialist 2 (Physical Security SME) to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit.

You will design, implement, test, and maintain physical security solutions including intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance and related IT systems for federal, local and commercial customers. Travel up to 25% is required. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of technical experience with relevant education, strong communication, and hands-on experience with Genetec,

Qualifications

• Experience with physical security systems design and deployment.
• Experience contributing to RFPs for new services or systems.
• Hands-on lab and field support for security solutions.
• Strong understanding of networking basics and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Research, evaluate and design security and AV systems solutions.
• Assist with technical input for RFPs and project proposals.
• Setup, configuration and integration of security solutions in lab and production environments.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to resolve complex system issues and ensure on-time delivery.
