Job summary

Genesis of Conshohocken in Conshohocken, PA, seeks an experienced General Sales Manager to lead the Genesis sales department. This full-time, on-site role oversees sales staff, sets performance goals, and drives volume, gross profit, and customer satisfaction in line with Genesis brand standards.

You will coach and mentor the team, lead sales meetings, assist with complex negotiations, and ensure a premium customer experience.

Role Description

The Genesis General Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Genesis of Conshohocken. in Conshohocken, PA. This role oversees the Genesis sales department, including managing the sales team, setting performance goals, and monitoring key metrics such as volume, gross profit, and customer satisfaction. Daily responsibilities include coaching and mentoring sales staff, leading sales meetings, assisting with complex negotiations, and ensuring a consistent, premium customer experience that aligns with Genesis brand standards. The manager collaborates with marketing and inventory teams to develop sales initiatives, optimize vehicle merchandising, and maintain an appropriate mix of new and pre-owned Genesis inventory. This role also includes responsibility for compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer programs, and regulatory requirements, while fostering a positive, results-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in automotive sales management, preferably with luxury or premium brands, and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong leadership and team development abilities, including coaching, performance management, and the ability to build a high-performing, customer-focused sales team.
• Solid proficiency with dealership management systems, CRM tools, and basic data analysis to track sales performance and customer trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, with the ability to manage complex sales transactions and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Understanding of retail automotive operations, including inventory management, pricing strategies, and manufacturer incentive programs.
• Ability to work on-site full-time, maintain a professional presence, and adapt to a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate dealership vehicles as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
