Nixon Power Services in Richland, MS is seeking a Generator Technician to join our on-site team. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, install and test standby generator units to ensure reliable power for customers.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, 1–5 years generator experience, and a willingness to pursue Kohler Power System certifications. Competitive benefits include medical, vision, dental, PTO, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–5 years generator experience required.
• Technical School Certificate or Military training is a plus.
• Experience with Kohler Power Systems is a plus.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Aufgaben

• Perform preventative maintenance on standby generator systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair gas and diesel engines.
• Repair and adjust transfer switches and perform major repairs on units.
• Install and test new generator units.
• Respond quickly to jobsites in case of emergency.
• Complete and submit work orders and reports in a timely manner.
• Prepare accurate quotes for repairs.
• Follow safety requirements, including proper use of PPE.
