Job summary

Buckeye Power Sales in Ohio is seeking a PCE Generator Technician to service rental power generation equipment, perform start-up and warranty work, and manage the rental fleet.

You will work on-site with our power & construction equipment division, must own hand tools, and have generator experience preferred. On-call schedule and background/drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent mechanical aptitude.
• Able to comprehend and troubleshoot from wiring schematics.
• Knowledge of A/C D/C circuits and electrical principles.
• Basic knowledge of diesel engines.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventative maintenance & repairs on rental power generation equipment.
• Performing start-up and warranty work on rental generator equipment.
• Managing rental fleet including organization, material handling, shipping and receiving.
• Safe delivery and pick up of rental generator units.
• Processing required paperwork in a timely and complete manner.
• Responsible for parts inventory on service truck.
• Further education to stay abreast of technological changes and develop knowledge base.
• Must own hand tools; specialty tools will be provided by the Company or purchased via tool allowance.
